Gustare Manuka Jelly Bush honey is harvested from the flora of the leptospermum polygalifolium plant species (popularly known as Jelly Bush), native to the Australian states of New South Wales and Queensland and similar to the leptospermum scoparium plant species, from which New Zealand's Manuka honey derives.

This Manuka Jelly Bush honey has been independently tested in laboratories in Australia which have certified a NPA (Non-Peroxide Activity rating of 5+ and MGO (methylglyoxal) rating of 83+. Unlike most varieties of Manuka honey, Gustare Manuka Jelly Bush honey has a luxurious sweet taste. There is no medicinal flavour which enables it to be used as a sweet addition to other foods. Gustare's suppliers are all B-Qual certified.

The B-Qual process certifies the production and provenance of Gustare's honey and offers independent certification tracking the jar back to the give and guaranteed single source location (in Australia). Gustare Manuka Jelly Bush honey is stored in temperature-controlled facilities to protect the activity levels in the honey and bottled in glass jars to ensure no possibility of chemical leaching. All honey produced by Gustare Honey is 100% pure, raw and natural; only being filtered once to remove any debris. Gustare has a strict company and product ethos and cares deeply about the bees and artisan beekeepers which produce their honey. Gustare's honey is presented as it would be in the hive.

Gustare does not use artificial chemicals in their production process, does not blend or pasteurise their honey and does not feed its bees sugar, resulting in a tastier and purer honey. Directions: Take 1-2 teaspoons up to 4 times a day. Can be consumed straight from the spoon or added to smoothies, cereals or toasts. Do not add to boiling liquids as this will destroy the anti-bacterial properties of the honey. Safety: Do not give to children aged under 1 year.
